Following the third round of Local Living Labs organised in March, the third Peer Review Session was held in Barcelona on 23-24 May with the participation of international bioeconomy experts. Results on barriers and drivers for implementing circular bioeconomy at local level and the preliminary results of the LCA and LCC of the alternative scenarios selected for each pilot were presented and discussed.
A dedicated session to test the Biocircularcities webtool prototype was organised to receive relevant feedback from the international reviewers.
In addition, representatives of other European projects (WAYSTUP, BIOBOOST and BIOBEST) that have synergies with Biocircularcities were invited to present their project outcomes relevant to Biocircularcities and discuss future possible partnerships.
